Fugitive Emission Test
Fugitive emissions are emissions of gases or vapours from pressurized equipment due to leaks and other unintended or irregular releases of gases, mostly from industrial activities. As well as the economic cost of lost commodities, fugitive emissions contribute to air pollution and climate change. To minimize and control leaks at process facilities, Aptest helps Valve manufacturers to carry out leak detection on the valves with a fugitive emission test, according to ISO 15848-1 and 2, API 622 etc.
Fugitive Emission test for Valve as per ISO STANDARD
Valves will be tested with helium tracer gas and any leakage can be measured with a mass spectrometer, using a sniffing test or vacuum technique. Our state of the art equipment, like Helium leak detector, automatic cycle machine, torque tools, flowmeters and temperature recorders, are all present.
Our test engineers are trained and qualified in accordance with ISO 9712, for the tracer gas method. The fugitive emission test for valves are tested on field by a qualified team..
