Hot-Dip Galvanising Services
Hot-dip galvanising in accordance with EN-ISO 1461 provides our steel gratings and stair treads with durable protection against corrosion. The products are submerged in a zinc bath containing molten zinc at a temperature of 450ºC. The zinc bonds with the steel and forms an unbreakable layer.

This zinc layer is hard, it is wear- and chip-resistant, and it can cope well with mechanical loads and so our gratings and stair treads can be used intensively. If the zinc layer does get damaged, a chemical reaction - cathodic protection – follows, preventing corrosion in products that have been galvanised properly. Only galvanising provides this unique protection.
