Furthermore, Grünbeck is certified by the TÜV according to the SCC System (Safety Certificate for Contractors).

This safety standard describes the measures for occupational health and safety that have to be carried out at site installations by subcontractors of large industrial clients, mainly from refineries or chemical fields. The corresponding documentation is included in the management manual.

In the following, organizational measures for the observance of industrial safety regulations are given as an example:

• Clear definition of responsibilities
• Conscientious instruction of new employees, adequate professional instructions
• Preparation of job instructions for industrial safety
• Regular checks regarding the observance of legal regulations (worker¿s protection regulation, industrial safety act, building site regulation, accident prevention rules, SCC)
• Recurring safety training
• Adequate professional and safety training, mounting and on-site personnel included
• Nomination of safety experts and safety officers
• Health check of employees, preventive examinations
• Evaluation of working conditions (hazard evaluation)
• Provision of necessary protective equipment
• Preparation of rescue and fire fighting plans, provision of suitable fire fighting agents for defensive fireproofing
• Coordination of repair and maintenance works in order to avoid hazardous consequences
