High-quality measurements require the use of suitable strain gauges and their proper installation. In order to support our customers, we also offer the installation of strain gauges as a service in addition to the sale of strain gauges and accessories. Below you will find a selection of these services.
STRAIN GAUGE INSTALLATIONS ON PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARDS (PCB, PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARDS)
The increasing complexity of electrical printed circuit boards in terms of functionality and the concentration of components on ever smaller dimensions leads to an increase in thermal and mechanical stresses during manufacture and operation. The experimental stress analysis on printed circuit boards is thus becoming increasingly important. For this purpose, ZSE offers both special strain gauges and the installation of these strain gauges on customer circuit boards as a service.
PREPARATION OF SPECIAL SCREWS FOR MEASURING THE AXIAL FORCE
Screw connections require a defined, high nominal preload for their functionality, which must be built up safely using suitable tightening devices. Special screws that contain a special DMS inside are suitable for measuring and monitoring forces and screws. The axial force can thus be determined very precisely via a strain measurement. As a service, ZSE offers to equip customer screws with this measuring device.
INSTALLATION OF HIGH TEMPERATURE STRAIN GAUGES
The stress analysis in the temperature range up to 950 °C requires the use of strain gages in tubular form, which are installed using a special spot welding process. For users who are not sufficiently familiar with this technology, the installation of high-temperature strain gauges is offered as a service.
