From waste declaration analysis to mercury porosimetry. All tests are carried out in accredited laboratories. HeGo Biotec GmbH is continuously expanding its range of products and processes through targeted activities in the research and development department. The company works closely with partners at universities and colleges as well as efficient and competent commercial enterprises.
The focus of the research activities are:
- constant improvement and development of products based on iron hydroxide
- extension of the product range for gas and water treatment
- economic optimization of all products and processes
We can look back on the following successfully completed projects:
- Further phosphorus elimination as part of wastewater treatment using small sewage treatment plants adsorption of phosphorus on granules based on iron hydroxide and regeneration of the adsorbent with simultaneous phosphorus recovery
- Reduction of arsenic in drinking water
- Design bases for decentralized systems with iron hydroxide-based materials for the treatment of polluted surface runoff and similar waters
- sorptive cooling in air conditioning systems of buildings using liquid sorbents based on inorganic, hygroscopic salts
- innovative process for oxygen and hydrogen sulphide removal from biogas with the help of ferric substances
- Effect of products based on ferric hydroxide in the internal desulfurization of biogas plants
