MF-Sewage Screen

Samples are prepared according to sample type and analyzed for the indicator organisms, E. coli and members of the Enterococcus group (a subgroup of Streptococcus) associated with fecal and/or sewage contamination. Data are reported semi-quantitatively, indicating the relative amounts of E. coli and Enterococcus species in the sample. This analysis may be coupled with a sewage clearance after cleaning or treatment to help determine the efficacy of the remediation processes.
