Cascade Drilling, L.P. serves the mineral exploration and mine development markets. We operate Sonic, Air Rotary, Top Drive Hammer, Under Reamer and Reverse Circulation, Rock Coring and Mud Rotary drilling. Our customers can expect a consistent, safe and professional service at any site.
Our safety record, programs and metrics meet the most stringent standards set by mineral exploration companies, major oil companies and the Federal Government. For Rotary drilling we operate Ingersoll Rand air rigs both 30 and 50K. We routinely add tag on air, cyclones and roll off bins for cuttings management. We also have dual rotary rigs for boreholes that need to be cased while drilling. We can drill and drive casing up to 12", ODEX/Under reamer up to12" casing both to depths up to 2,000`.
Diamond Core drilling is done with of our LF70 fly rigs, LF 90 truck mounted rig and our IR 30k or 50K rotary rigs or CME 85 coring rigs – all truck mounted. We operate the following core systems: 94mm Wireline Punch Core, NQ®, HQ®, and PQ® Hard Rock Wireline Coring sample to depths that can reach several thousand feet.
Sonic drilling employs the use of high-frequency, resonant energy to advance a core barrel or casing into subsurface formations allowing you to collect continuous samples with close to 100 percent recovery in most formations. Sonic may be the best technology for shallow (<600 feet) drilling.
