Why Should You Have A Service?
COSHH Regulations dictate that Local Exhaust Ventilation (Fume Containment) equipment should be checked and certified every 12 to 14 months and the results should be recorded, irrespective of the amount of usage the cabinet has received. BS EN 14175 detail these specific requirements, and the safeguards contained in BS 7258-3:1994 regarding maintenance at 12 monthly intervals are also retained in these updated standards.
