CANON SAFETY/RHI GROUP is the leader in providing OQ Training Services with both Veriforce, OQSG,as well as providing ISNet World account management. In 1992 the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) under the Department of Transportation (DOT) regulation 49 CFR mandated through its Pipeline Safety Act that all pipeline operators who perform covered task must be qualified. Qualified means that an individual has been evaluated and can preform assigned covered task and recognize and react to abnormal operating conditions.

The mandated Operator Qualification (OQ), has become increasingly confusing, time consuming and a costly requirement for operators associated with the pipeline industry. CANON SAFETY/ RHI GROUP is here to ease the burden of all phases of the OQ process. Our team of qualified trainers, test proctors, and task evaluators are here to assist with every aspect of OQ compliance.

Our goal is to provide the most cost effective OQ compliance services for our customers. CANON SAFETY/RHI GROUP has partnered with several OQ and data providers to meet OQ requirements established by the DOT. We meet with all clients to establish a training plan based of the critical task needed. Our evaluators have all the materials needed to conduct “hands on” training, administer evaluation testing and conduct skills evaluations on critical tasks.
