Adjustments and optimisation
With adjustments and optimisation, you can think of machine and line improvements or retrofits. Examples are:
- Required adjustments when renewing old components that are no longer supported. Through a standard retrofit, these components are replaced by a new version or type. This may, for example, involve motors, drives and touch panels.
- Machine retrofits to the latest state of the art, for example for the Midas stunning system,F-Line machines or Butina CO2 units.
Expansions
With expansions, you may think of new machines and the expansion of conveyors and other equipment. Examples of expansions and further automation are:
- Stables: automatic drift
- Machines in the dirty slaughtering line: stunning systems, dehairing machines, flaming and decontamination furnaces and polishing machines
- Machines in the clean slaughtering line: F-line machines, M-line machines and carcass splitters
- Machines in the cutting room and the deboning area: Blade Bone Remover (BBR)
- Conveyors
Upgrades
With upgrades, you can think of machine expansions and (software) updates. Examples are:
- Upgrade of the operating system of, for instance, Siemens S5 or Izumi to Siemens S7
- Butina capacity upgrade with an additional pod
- Upgrade from a hydraulic control to a servo control
