REKA A/S makes and has made many different development projects within the biomass area. Among others we can mention: Cooperation with Danmarks Tekniske Universitet (the Technical University of Denmark) concerning straw pyrolysis. Co-generation plants on straw gasification and Stirling plants on green chips. With Forskningscenter Bygholm (the Research Center Bygholm) we have developped an electro filter which can cleanse the smoke for straw as well as a Venture Scrubber also for cleansing of smoke for straw/chips with condensation. Both with very fine results. At Vest Wood in Logstor, Denmark, we have developped an automatic chain silo discharge for fast clearing of shaving silos. The chain works as a chain saw which rotates in the silo. The target, which we wanted to reach, was to avoid the opening of the doors during the clearing because of life danger.
