Our secure destruction and recycling services use state-of-the-art processing equipment to destroy material. This solution ensures that sensitive products are physically destroyed by industrial shredders, which break down material into small fractions. Shredded material is then mechanically separated for the recovery of commodities.

We offer video of the destruction process as well as a Certificate of Destruction after the materials are destroyed. All processing is completed at our ISO 14001 registered facility in Cambridge Ontario and is done in compliance with environment, health and safety regulations.

We ensure traceability and transparency

Materials are traced from the point of pick-up to the final destination where they are turned into new products. E-waste is processed at our facility in Cambridge, Ontario using our proprietary material recovery system, where it is broken down and separated into commodities such as metals, plastics and glass. These commodities are sent to qualified downstream processors who use them to manufacture new products. We perform downstream due diligence audits to ensure all of our partners comply with legislation and industry standards.

Greentec does not ship any hazardous waste to landfills or to developing countries. Though illegal, much of the world’s e-waste ends up in developing countries where it is often broken down using unsafe methods that put workers’ health at risk and destroy the ecosystem.
