VESPA Granulators offers spare parts for the plastic grinders manufactured by the company. These include spare knives and selection screens. The knives are made of hardened wear-resistant tool steel which increases their lives as usually those parts are not very durable. In a single plastic granulator there are 10 ( 4 stator + 6 rotor ) knives for our 3-star rotors and 14 ( 4 stator + 10 rotor) for the 5-star rotors. The design allows the knives to be adjusted for the perfect gap of 0.2mm between the rotor and stator knives to be reached. Moreover, the knives can also be resharpened several times before throwing them away. VESPA Granulators offers sharpening machines suitable exactly for sharpening knives. The screens are the other high-wearable components of the machine which have to be regularly replaced. The holes size define the final size of the grinded plastic material and are made upon customer request.
