Welding stainless steel can cause embrittlement and a reduction in corrosion resistance. To eliminate this effect, the surfaces of the stainless steels are chemically treated. This means that the contamination and color changes in the heat-affected zone caused by welding work can be removed and the stainless steels regain their corrosion resistance. The resulting waste and wastewater is processed in our neutralization plant or sent for controlled disposal.
