Version Type 7830 -Qualifier Building Acoustics Software

SHARE

Software for viewing, post-processing, documenting and archiving of sound insulation measurements made with sound level meters Types 2250, 2270 or 2260. Supports calculation and reporting of airborne, facade and impact sound insulation according to a variety of national and international standards.

Continue where you stopped
Qualifier presents results in the exact form as you left them on your sound level meter, including selected standard, excluded positions and other setup parameters. It fulfills the same standards as sound level meter softwares BZ-7204, BZ-7228 and BZ-7229.

Analyse in more depths
Qualifier can display the reverberation measurements as 3D-multispectra, providing a complete overview of the frequency-dependent reverberation curves. The reverberation times and reduction curves can be graphically modified in the corresponding displays. Using spreadsheet-like data tables, it is also possible to manually adjust levels and reverberation times used in calculations. With this manual input of data, modifications for walls and rooms can be simulated.

Flexible reverberation averaging
Reverberation-time measurements may be averaged in two ways:

  • Averaging of reverberation times (T20 and T30)
  • Averaging of decay curves (multispectra), also called `ensemble averaging`

Using the latter has the advantage of producing an average decay curve (multispectrum) for each frequency band.

Documentation
Qualifier provides a flexible reporting system. Based on templates, complete standard-compliant reports can be added to a measurement with a single click. However, it is also possible to take selected information, such as a graph, from Qualifier to the clipboard and paste it into custom documents.
