Vacuum Technology Training (Part Two) Online
This online training course is the second in a series of two trainings from Compliance Solutions and requires the student to have successfully completed Vacuum Technology Part 1 (Initial Training). This course provides an overview of vacuum technology, its applications, a review of the equipment used for vacuum production and measurement, couplings and valves, and leak detection.
- Personnel new to the vacuum industry, such as process, development, sales, service, research and scientific staff.
After completing Vacuum Technology Training part two, you will be able to:
- Describe the instruments used to measure the degree of vacuum reached
- Explain how connections between components are made and describe the choice of vacuum valves available
- Explain how air leaks into vacuum systems are detected
- Review in more detail some vacuum applications
- Assessment Quiz on completion of the module

- Unit 10: Summary & Conclusion
Throughout the online course you will be asked to participate in a variety of interactive exercises. Each exercise tests your knowledge on the course content. In addition, you will find links to additional information or resources that support the content presented. Please feel free to print these resources for your files. Completion of the course requires you pass a final exam to validate your learning retention. The course should take approximately 45 minutes to complete.
