The BandIT™ Sample Applicator will semi-automatically apply a uniform streak or band of sample solution to a TLC plate.

The task of preparative Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) is to isolate compounds in amounts large enough for subsequent use. Quantities range from several milligrams (mg) up to 50 mg or more. To obtain a sufficient quantity of material, a relatively large volume of sample solution must be applied to a TLC plate.
