SmartCast™ Sensor Winch

It's not easy deploying instruments remotely on water. That's where our new SmartCast™ winch comes in! The SmartCast™ system automatically deploys sensors (like sound velocity profilers) to user-selected depths. Fully integrated into our larger USVs, it comes with 30m of rope and has been tested to give a margin of error of only 0.5% at max depth. Once the sensor resurfaces, data is automatically communicated to your PC or phone via bluetooth.
