Providing the highest, but also consistent quality of beer and malt is a great challenge and it depends on many factors. Many of these processes are now controlled automatically. But what about the proper air circulation in vats and malting plants? The key is the floor construction that provides an adequate open area while maintaining high pressure resistance and transferring heavy loads. Such a solution are floors made of wedge wire screens welded from profile wires. The triangular cross-section of the slots ...

Before they reach our shops, food and beverages are subjected to numerous processing. Growing price competition is forcing manufacturers to reduce production costs while maintaining the highest parameters of products. Therefore, technological processes become the area of continuous optimisation, and hence the industrial screens used in pressure filtration, non-pressure filtration, rinsing, cleaning, pressing, dehydration, drying, sorting, calibration and screening. The efficiency of the entire plant often depends ...

The wide use of starch in many branches of the food, textile, paper, pharmaceutical, chemical, metallurgical and other industries ensures that demand continues to grow. Depending on the available raw materials (potatoes, corn, wheat, tapioca), the production processes differ. But what determines their performance? The screens used in the processes of rinsing, filtration and separation, dewatering of starch, pulp as well as the concentration of starch in centrifuges play an important role. Optimally designed screen ...

Water determines life and its quality. It is one of the main natural resources of the earth. Stricter environmental regulations and rising water prices clearly remind us that these resources are limited. Effective wastewater management is becoming one of the key elements of the development strategy of many manufacturing companies and local governments. Efficient and effective cleaning and treatment processes require reliable and precise devices. These in turn require reliable and precise screens and filter ...
