Sludge Pump Product Applications In Georgia (USA)
5 applications found
In the food process industry, our pumps are commonly used for pumping sludge in the waste stream to and from belt presses and centrifuges because of their ability to pump thick, viscous and/or abrasive materials containing hard solids up to 1/8” (3 mm) with a metered, pulseless flow. LobePro Stainless Steel C-Series pumps are designed to handle these applications. ...

Wastewater treatment plants face the need to manage their costs, and one of those costs is in heating cold, untreated sludge to the required temperature. That investment in energy is then lost when the waste flow is released. DDI'S direct sludge-to-sludge heat recovery system pumps incoming sludge through a system of rectangular channels, so it absorbs most of the energy in the hot wasted digested sludge. With DDI ...

Construction Dewatering: Rotary lobe pumps are ideal for wellpointing and sock. Wellpointing and sock require that the pump be able to selfprime, often to 20 ft; be able to pump both air and water without cavitation damage; and be able to overcome air leaks because of a high air handling capability and still continue to prime. Rotary lobe pumps are now the dominate pump used for wellpointing and sock in the USA. Our sister company www.hollandpump.com has over 200 wellpoint/sock pumps in its rental fleet. They have ...

Many mining processes require dewatering. Rotary lobe pumps are well suited for feeding dewatering devices because of their ability to pump a measured, near pulseless flow at any pressure within the pump’s PSI range. Additionally, mining applications are often abrasive. Pump wear rate is greatly effected by pump speed. Typically, rotary lobe pumps run at 200-300 rpm in abrasive applications whereas centrifugal pumps are typically run at 1750 rpm. This results in much faster wear for centrifugal pumps. ...

Bredel hose pumps are proven to reduce operating costs when used with mechanical thickening systems. DAF sludge has high air entrained which may cause a progressive cavity pump rotor and stator to overheat. Bredel hose pumps can capably handle this high air entrained sludge without deformation to the hose or pump. ...
