Ecoworld was established in 1993 by Fred & Ruby Walker. Back then, bio-remediation or microbe technology (natural micro-organisms/ bacteria) to treat organic waste was in its infancy in New Zealand. Now, Fred & Ruby`s son Ron, and his wife Kathy own the business, after taking over the reigns in 2018. Fred & Ruby still work within the business, offering their vast expertise on a daily basis. In fact, with over 26 years of history in the water treatment industry, the Ecoworld team has a wealth of knowledge and experience in water purification, revitalisation, treatment methods and systems. We are a leading supplier of rural water filtration systems, specialising in the removal of iron and manganese, but also treat other issues affecting commercial and industrial businesses. Our own ‘iRon-Filtration by design’ water filter systems can be found throughout the Waikato, Bay of Plenty and surrounding North Island areas.
