Its flagship feature, DemandGuard, monitors your grid draw in real time during peak hours and discharges your Powerwall to keep demand below a user-set target, preventing a single high-usage moment from inflating your bill for the entire month. Other automations include switching to battery just before on-peak windows open, charging overnight at off-peak rates, and sending alerts when battery levels are too low before peak hours. Grid Getter reads your utility tariff directly from Tesla and generates suggested automations tailored to your plan, with pre-built support for Arizona utilities SRP and APS.
