Insight Terra was established specifically to help enterprises gain real insight into their environmental and infrastructure risks, and to make informed decisions about those risks. In short, Insight Terra was formed to help protect the environment from people, and people from the environment. Our company was born through the combination of a spinout from Inmarsat, the leading global mobile satellite communications provider, and CivicConnect, a smart infrastructure data management platform service provider. The two companies had partnered to create the Insight Platform and realized the best way to meet the need for real-time data driven insight was to create a new company that could focus exclusively on the critical need for environmental risk management and ESG compliance — Insight Terra.
