Founded in 2000, Protobox has a well established reputation in software design and integration as well as simulation hardware manufacturing. With over 23 years of experience with the Department of Defense (DOD), our staff of well vetted contract-based engineers and technicians provide high quality solutions to problems in the aerospace research field. Our software engineering work focuses on designing sophisticated software solutions in support of massive aerospace research projects. One major solution we provide is developing and maintaining a suite of plugins for the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM) in collaboration with USAF/AFRL. This along with other projects have assisted in establishing Protobox as a leader in software integration and design. Our skilled team of hardware engineers and technicians are capable of designing, building, and maintaining research simulators for countless private and DOD organizations.
