From an ecological and economical perspective, biogas is an important source of energy. The fossil resources are limited, and they impose a high burden on the environment. A resourceconserving alternative made from biomass poses a different scenario. The raw material is renewable, and conversion only releases as much CO2 as was previously contained by the source material. With the technological progress made in recent years, high energy effi ciency and lowmaintenance operation have made investme

Anaerobic digestion is a series of processes in which micro organisms break down biodegradable material in the absence of oxygen. It is widely used to treat wastewater sludges and organic (agricultural) wastes. As part of an integrated waste management system, anaerobic digestion reduces the emission of gas into the atmosphere. Anaerobic digestion is a renewable energy source because the process produces a methane and carbon dioxide rich biogas suitable for energy production. BioFuel Gener

A customer with a tough application for a Positive Displacement RAS (Return Activated Sludge) Pump was experiencing high maintenance with the existing submersible unit, requiring lifting of the pump every 3-4 weeks, usually due to solids blockage. NOT a pleasant task regularly lifting from raw sewage!
Triangle replaced it with a self-priming Boerger Rotary Lobe Pump.
A useful feature of the pump is that its direction is fully reversible. The submerged filter can be unblocked by rev
