Bertfelt - Constant Flow Valve type Inserts

When the pressure increases the O-ring is pressed down into the conical seat and the orifice of the O-ring decreases in size so that the water flow remains constant at the pre-set nominal rate, and vice-versa.

In this way the pre-set nominal flow rate is always kept constant regardless of the pressure variations.

BT-Maric constant flow valve: type Inserts

BT-Maric Insert valves provide a constant, pre-determined, flow rate for water and similar media regardless of the pressure variations. BT-Maric Inserts are designed to be fitted inside existing pipe work or pressing/slip fitting inside other equipments such as manifolds water meters and meter tails etc. They control flow rates up to 233 L/min. Insert valves are the most economical products in our constant flow range.

Two types of inserts are available: plain and special inserts.

• Plain inserts are available for pipe sizes between DN8 to DN40.
• Special inserts are made to suit customer’s specific requirements for their OEM equipment. They can be fitted with an O-ring, for the purpose of sealing and holding the insert in place.
