Mass Aritma - Model MAN 4110 -Rectangular Linear Scrapers
The sedimentation process, an indispensable part of wastewater treatment, is sometimes carried out in rectangular tanks. In this case, the sludge that settles at the bottom needs to be scraped towards the sludge cones located at the inlet of the sedimentation tank. The scraper systems used for this purpose consist of a bridge scraper system that can move in two directions along the tank. Accordingly, as the bridge moves from the inlet to the outlet of the tank, the scraper blades are raised and move back empty. During the movement towards the sludge cones, the sludge blades are lowered, pushing the sludge towards the cones. It is possible to program the scraper in various ways to achieve the desired performance depending on the solid matter load and characteristics.
